New Moon Trailer in Theaters on Friday with “The Proposal”?


According to a reader, the New Moon trailer that was first shown at the MTV Movie Awards may begin showing up in theaters on Friday with, at the very least, Sandra Bullockʼs new film The Proposal, as it was shown at a sneak preview of the film last night–

I just thought Iʼd let you know, because there has been a lot of speculation as to when they would start putting out the trailer for New Moon…I SAW IT TONIGHT AT THE THEATRE. It was AWESOME! I went to see the sneak peak of The Proposal (which by the way is a hilarious movie, go see it) and it was the first movie trailer. I about freaked when they showed the shoreline, I knew exactly what it was! It was the same as the “sneak” we saw during the MTV Movie Awards, but seriously it was 100% better to see it in the theatre.

Some of you have already noticed the New Moon poster showing up in theaters, as well–as shown in this shot that another reader sent in.









True Blood vs Twilight: Can the Vampires Peacefully Coexist?

200906141231.jpg With the HBO Southern gothic vampire series True Blood starting its new season tonight, Interview magazine recently caught up with the stars of True Blood to ask what they thought of the Twilight vamps–

Can the vampire universes of True Blood and Twilight peacefully coexist?

I donʼt know…I think maybe the True Blood vampires would be jealous of the Twilight vampires for being so sparkly and shiny in the sun…they are the supermodels of the vampire world…and I think that we have all seen that supermodels and humans have difficulties with peaceful coexistence…a la the Naomi episodes.

What would a rumble between the two casts look like?

I think it would a little like the rumble in West Side story…with lots of hair product and fancy dance numbers and lots of hot men! And Yes I think the True Blood Vampires would definately crush the sparkly Twilight Vamps, without question.

Robert Pattinson or James Franco for Jeff Buckley Role

According to ABC News, the role of songwriter Jeff Buckley in an upcoming biopic about his tragically short life is down to two actors: Robert Pattinson and James Franco.

Jeff Buckley, son of musician Tim Buckley, got popular in the ʼ90s playing cover songs in the East Village before focusing on his own material. In 1997, Jeff accidentally drowned in Memphis at the age of 30. Since he only had one studio album, several songs were released posthumously, including his cover of Leonard Cohenʼs “Hallelujah,” which earned him chart success over a decade after his death.

Robert Pattinson on the Set of Remember Me in NYC

The very first images of New Moon star Robert Pattinson on the set of his upcoming film Remember Me that is currently filming in New York City have arrived.

The film also stars Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper and Lena Olin. The film is directed by Allen Coulter who previously worked on television series such as The Sopranos, Sex and the City and Six Feet Under.

Robert Pattinson Wins Vanity Fair Most Handsome in the World

Robert Pattinson devestated the competetion in the Vanity Fair poll for “The Most Handsome Man in the World” with 51% of the vote. His closest competitors were Nacho Figueras, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp; they lagged far behind at 13%, 12% and 7% of the vote respectively.

Ashley Greene Talks about Her New Moon Wardrobe

Ashley Greene has revealed that denim is a no-no for Alice Cullen in New Moon, and top designers are in. The couture of Michael Kors will be making an appearance with a gray ombré jacket while she darts around Volterra in the Yellow Porsche. “We had a lot more [money and time] to work with,” she said.

The new Alice Cullen look will be a “bad-ass” version of Audrey Hepburn, Ashley noted.
