Weʼve heard from a couple of different people that the location in the pictures, an underground location in the city of Montepulciano, will be used in New Moon for the scene in which tourists are led to a trap where they are fed upon by the Volturi. What do you think–is this what you imagined from the book?







Ashley Greene left Vancouver yesterday, and Lainey has the Punkd pics, as well as some new info on what theyʼre shooting on the set of New Moon–
"Today is Pattinsonʼs final day on the set of New Moon barring any crazy cataclysmic setback. Theyʼve had to postpone these scenes due to weather, now must rush him through the shoot to get him out on schedule. Itʼs supposed to be a beautiful day in Vancouver today. Which is perfect because – get ready for it Twi-hards – today they are shooting in the Meadow.
Itʼs a dreamy sequence. In the Meadow, Bella sees herself get old, looks like her grandma. And Edward wishes grandma happy birthday. Then theyʼre young together and lying in the field and looking at each other and itʼs pretty."






Access Hollywood interviews New Moon star Nikki Reed on New Moon–she says they go back August 17th to begin Eclipse! She also talks about going to Italy despite not being in the Italian scenes. MTV has an interview as well, and Nikki says of the birthday scene–
“[There isn't] that much [blood], believe it or not,” she said. “Unless they plan on adding stuff in on post [production]. But I think thatʼs the whole point is that we donʼt need a massive amount of blood to get feisty.”
With “New Moon” underway, plans are already being made for its follow-up, “Eclipse,” and Reed has already had talks with its director, David Slade. “I met with him while I was there [on set],” she said. “I think heʼs going to be fantastic. Each film is going to get better and better. Weʼve all figured out our characters and weʼre all just excited. Weʼre making a fun series.”
In other news, sheʼs told E Online! that maybe she should be looking for a new job:
“Itʼs really nice to work with your friends,” she said at T-Mobileʼs Sidekick LX launch party last night. “When I left and I was done, I said to Kristen [Stewart], ʽI guess I should go back to L.A. and look for a new job and have a life.ʼ “

It looks like the word of scenes being shot in Bellaʼs bedroom today was no lie–check out this picture from today on the set for Bellaʼs house, with a huge chunk taken out of the side of the house and a camera setup lodged in the gaping hole.






Lainey Gossip brings a few details of what they are currently filming up in Vancouver:

Shooting Bella bedroom scenes. He goes through her photos and she cries and mopes some more when there are no photos. Also something about her opening her eyes and there he is beside her waiting for her to wake up. Pattinson is concurrently continuing green screen work with the other vampires. Winding down his stay in Vancouver.





New Moon star Robert Pattinson and Wolverine hunk Hugh Jackman are set to star alongside each other in the film Unbound Captives , and People asked Hugh what he thought–
Now that heʼs conquered the box office with Wolverine, Jackman is set to star in the 19th-century drama Unbound Captives with Twilightʼs Robert Pattinson. “Heʼs a really great actor and a really good guy,” said Jackman. “His role is phenomenal and itʼs going to be really amazing stuff.”
And what does he think about Pattinsonʼs famous hair? “Iʼm not an aficionado of hair, but his looks great.“

Interview with Charlie Bewley - Demetri of the Volturi

Newcomer Charlie Bewley is set to play Demetri of the Volturi in New Moon. Not much is known about the UK-born Vancouver resident, so the TwilightBlog took the chance to ask him a few questions about himself and the role heʼll be playing. When asked what aspects of his character Demetri heʼs most looking forward to play, Charlie said–

He has unparalleled tracking abilities together with insane strength, speed and classiness; lives in Tuscany, underground; hangs out with the beautiful Heidi who brings him food all the time; he has red irises and glitters in the sunlight… Itʼs hard, therefore, to see whatʼs not to like about playing this legend.

The commonalities we share mean this is a character I can seriously get my teeth into: Heʼs a tracker, Iʼm a rave-runner; heʼs a diplomat, Iʼm a spiritualist; heʼs cool and stylish, Iʼm…. we have a lot in common.

What I love about Demetri is that he is utterly charming in juxtaposition to big bad Felix, yet “no less lethal”… clearly this guy takes no prisoners. Well, he does… before tearing them limb from limb.
